K0LTC – Maple Grove Radio Club

The K0LTC organization has been around since the days of Civil Defense. The club has always been a service oriented club providing assistance to public safety, hospitals, parades, bike tours, and antique car runs to mention a few.

The club started meeting in the Robbinsdale Fire Hall on Hubbard Avenue in Robbinsdale and 41st and 1/2 street. We later moved to the new Public Safety Center at Hubbard and 41st.

In an effort to attract a larger member base, we decided to move to where the growth potential was. The move to Maple Grove has had a profound effect on the club. Our membership has more than tripled!

K0LTC.org sponsors Midwinter Madness, a radio and electronics hamfest. This event is held in March each year at the Buffalo, MN Civic Center.

Wednesday Net

Join us on Wednesday evenings at 8:00pm for our weekly net which is open to all licensed amateur radio operators. No need to be a member of the club.

It’s on the Maple Plain repeater 147.000+ with an access tone of 114.8.

Immediately following the Maple Plain repeater net, we hold a simplex net on 146.49 FM. If you cannot hear net control, please listen for relay stations.

Mission Statement

Maple Grove Radio Club provides education to future and current amateur radio operators, with the goal of serving the public. We are a reliable communications resource for events and emergencies in Maple Grove and surrounding communities.
