Happy June! We’re kicking off our summer of numerous volunteer opportunities. As always, we are looking for as many volunteers as possible for upcoming MS rides, Field Day, Rice Lake Fun Run, and Antique car run.
Field Day is rapidly approaching. Thank you to Aaron Lewis for spearheading the coordination with Roy and to Barb and Will for helping as well. We will discuss any additional planning and needs at our upcoming meeting.
For those of you who attempted contacts during the latest round of solar storms I would love to hear how it went at our next meeting. When I jumped on I it really seemed to take out the bands.
Finally this past month a community member reached out for help with finding an unknown signal that was jamming garage door openers. This led to a lot of you volunteering to help, and even more so expressing interest in a fox hunt . Many of you have never done one before and wanted to learn and know more. I am working on getting a presenter lined up for an upcoming meeting and seeing if we can’t get our own fox hunt together.
