Dear Fellow Members
Welcome to March! As the winter frost begins to thaw and the days grow longer, it is time to shake off the rust, shake out our antennas, and truly embrace 2026 as the ARRL Year of the Club.
The message from headquarters is clear: Be Radio Active. This year is our invitation to connect, innovate, and share our passion for amateur radio.
March is the perfect bridge into the outdoor operating season. As foliage returns, our UHF/VHF signals will face more challenges, making now the time to test our equipment. I also encourage everyone to participate in our upcoming weekly nets.
Our club is doing great work. Please share your photos and stories with the newsletter committee so we can highlight our activities in the local community.
Let’s start planning our activities for World Amateur Radio Day on April 18th, which celebrates the formation of the IARU.
Don’t forget that Midwinter Madness is also this month. It is one of our biggest events of the year. All current members are encouraged to join in and help out if able.
I look forward to seeing many of you at this month’s meeting. Thank you for making our club a vibrant, welcoming, and active community.
