The KØLTC organization has been around since the days of Civil Defense. The club has always been a service oriented club providing assistance to public safety, hospitals, parades, bike tours, and antique car runs to mention a few.
The club started meeting in the Robbinsdale Fire Hall on Hubbard Avenue in Robbinsdale and 41st and 1/2 street. We later moved to the new Public Safety Center at Hubbard and 41st.
In an effort to attract a larger member base, we decided to move to where the growth potential was. The move to Maple Grove has had a profound effect on the club. Our membership has more than tripled!
KØLTC.org has sponsored Midwinter Madness, a radio and electronics hamfest. This event is held in March each year at the Buffalo, MN Civic Center.
